Between March 22-30, 2022 Timisoara will host a youth exchange within Empowering the informal project. If you are young and willing to learn, experience and share, check this article out and apply for it!
The youth exchange will gather together 36 participants from Hungary, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, and Romania which will have 7 days of a learning experience.
Thus, within the youth exchange, you will:
- Share information about the local identity and culture of the region they come from;
- Discover new tools of active citizenship and youth participation;
- Learn about various methods of community engagement and community building;
- Discover non-formal education methods and useful resources for informal groups.
- Discover new opportunities for volunteering.
The youth exchange will gather young people who:
- are between the ages of 16 and 30;
- speak English at a conversational level;
- are part of an informal group/are interested in creating an informal group;
- are interested to participate in non-formal activities.
Accommodation will be provided in one of the student dorms. Facilities at the accommodation:
- shared bedrooms;
- shared kitchen and bathroom.
Food will also be provided – 3 meals/day. Also, we will organize dinners out, and you will have the chance to try some traditional food also.
The travel expenses will be reimbursed according to the Erasmus+ distance band, the maximum amounts being:
- Spain – 360 EUR;
- Portugal – 360 EUR;
- Luxembourg – 275 EUR;
- Hungary – 180 EUR.
