Looking for a meaningful volunteering experience abroad this summer? Be part of the 4th edition of Youth Summer Fest, a dynamic team volunteering project running from 1st of August to 31st August in Timișoara and Lugoj—two welcoming communities in western Romania!
What is the festival about?
Youth Summer Fest brings together 35 international volunteers to create, implement, and promote educational, cultural, and creative activities for young people. This year, we’re expanding our focus on learning and personal development, offering interactive workshops, training sessions, and hands-on experiences in youth engagement. Volunteers will contribute in one of three key areas:
✔️ Facilitation & Education – Leading workshops on active citizenship, leadership, and community engagement.
✔️ Media & Promotion – Creating content to share impactful stories and raise awareness about youth participation.
✔️ Logistics & Events – Supporting the organization in preparing spaces and cultural events.

📅 Recruitment Timeline
✅ March 20 – Application deadline for candidates needing a visa.
✅ April 30 – Application deadline for non-visa candidates.
✅ June 30 – Application deadline for Romanian candidates.
🎉 Volunteering Activity Timeline
✅ July 31 – Arrival day.
✅ August 12 – International Youth Day celebration.
✅ September 1 – Departure day.
Accommodation & Benefits
🏠 Housing: Student dorms in Timișoara (shared rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen).
🍽 Food allowance: 5 EUR/day.
💰 Pocket money: 4 EUR/day.
✈️ Travel reimbursement: Covered according to the distance bands (check the infopack for details).
⚠️ Visa fees are not covered.
