Have you ever thought about spending a year abroad, making an impact, and growing both personally and professionally? Beyond Borders is your chance to do exactly that.
This long-term European Solidarity Corps (ESC) project runs until August 2026 and is hosted by FITT in Romania. It brings together international and national volunteers to promote social inclusion, human rights, solidarity, and youth participation, all while supporting the work of one of the most active youth NGOs in the region.
As a volunteer, you’ll be part of a vibrant, multicultural team and help organize activities, events, and initiatives in Timișoara, Lugoj, and rural areas in Timiș County.
🔧 What will you do?
As a volunteer, you’ll be involved in organising workshops, events, campaigns, and supporting FITT’s ongoing activities. Depending on your interests, you’ll get to choose which areas you prefer:

If you enjoy working directly with young people, this is your space! You will:
- Design and deliver non-formal education activities;
- Lead interactive discussions, practical exercises, and workshops;
- Adapt sessions based on feedback and engagement.
Topics can range from personal development and digital skills to art, culture, health, sustainability, financial & legal autonomy, communication and civic engagement.

- Create content (TikToks, reels, stories, photos, and videos);
- Promote activities through online and offline channels;

- Organise and manage equipment and materials;
- Help with event setup and venue arrangements;

📊 Impact & Data Analysis

- Collect data from young people through street surveys and interviews;
- Manage participant lists and databases;
- Evaluate the impact of volunteer-driven initiatives or environmental activities, providing insights to enhance program outcomes.
