WHAT DOES "I CHOOSE YOU" MEAN?
Each of us has a story that slowly eats away at us or that we hide for fear of being judged, even though sometimes we want to shout it out loud. This is how "I Choose You: Unfiltered in the spotlight" came about, to show us that we are not alone in our daily challenges.
WHAT ARE WE AIMING FOR?
Now in its second edition, "I choose you" is more than just a conference for young people. With this edition, we aim to create a safe space where guests and participants can share their stories as they feel them, without evasion or sugar-coating.
At the same time, we want to raise awareness about the current situation in Romania, which is reflected in the topics of discussion.
What are the topics of the conference?
- Activism and public voice: Activism, in general, refers to the practice of taking various actions to impact and influence socio-political and economic life. We invite young people to engage in dialogue with our speakers, precisely because of their need to connect with the community in which they live and with people who represent models of good practice in terms of protecting and defending personal values.
- Transparency and social responsibility: Through this theme, we promote transparent communication based on mutual respect, awareness, and values such as human rights, the rule of law, and equality, using authentic and relatable examples.
- Relational education and healthy boundaries: We will address topics such as empathy, authentic communication, respecting and enforcing personal boundaries, and mutual respect. We believe that shame dies when stories are told in a safe space. That is why we want to inspire young people with the courage they need to be assertive and open to seeking as many spaces as possible where they can express themselves freely, without veils or prejudices.
- Feminism: In this conference, feminism is approached as a discussion about fairness, safety, and responsibility. We want to talk openly about harassment, discrimination, and violence, as well as destigmatize certain preconceptions and stereotypes surrounding the perception of feminism. We encourage young people to speak up when discussing important issues in the world we live in.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
The "I choose you" conference is open especially to young people who feel the need to share their story, to draw inspiration from the stories of others, and to offer or receive moral support or a kind thought.
SPEAKERS
Ana Maria Udriște: A lawyer and entrepreneur, founder of the Avocatoo platform, Ana-Maria transforms legal language into one that is accessible to all. After overcoming three episodes of burnout, she chose to live with intention and balance, redefining success through authenticity. Her story is one of vulnerability, reconstruction, and the courage to be honest.
Ioana Mureșan: A lawyer and human rights activist, Ioana is part of the FILIA Center team, where she has discussed street harassment and gender equality with thousands of young people across the country. With her calm but firm voice, she brings feminism, justice, and the courage to speak openly to the forefront.
